Japanese Gen1/P1 tamagotchi scret character help

I have a mint green japanese gen1/p1 tamagotchi and recently tried getting the secret character on it, i used the same method for the american version by taking perfect care of it and catching all disciplines but failed to get it... does anyone know how to get the japanese secret character? Any tips and tricks will be very helpful once my maskutchi leaves so i can try again.

Should be the same as with the English one.

It's really trial and error, most people that get him once can usually get him again. Just keep trying, I'm sure you'll get him soon.

bill is the american secret character, i've never had or even know the name of the japanese one...

It's the old guy don't know the name out of my head either but should work the same as the American one to get.
