I had a question on the Japanese meanings. Like Kuro means black, Uwasa means Rumor or Gossip.

I was just wondering about all the others, what are they?

Give a list on them!

Ones I know

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hoshi-Star
Uwasa-Gossip/Rumor
Kuro-Black
Shima or Shimashima- Stripe
Chanto-Perfect
Furawa- Flower
Any others I missed
Let's try this ! >8D
Mimitchi - "Mimi" as in "ears"
Nazotchi - "Nazo" as in "mystery"
Kuchipatchi - "Kuchi" as in "mouth"
Kunoitchi - a pun on "Kunoichi", female ninjas
I think the "Hitode" in Hitodetchi means starfish, and I'm pretty sure the "Gozaru" from Gozarutchi refers to how old-day samurai spoke- very... archaic language.
"Gozaru" was probably the old form of "Desu", which is used to indicate politeness in the Japanese language.
This is all just what I've heard though. :)
I have some!
"Ichigo"-strawberry (Itchigotchi)...how could we forget her? She's so cute!
"Ringo"-apple (Ringotchi)
"Mizu"-water (Mizumatchi)
"Hana"-nose (Hanatchi)
Mametchi-Beans
Umino- Found in the ocean
Morino- Found in the garden
Debirutchi - Devil
Tenshi- Angel
Marutchi- round
Tamatchi- Ball
Kuchitamatchi- Beak ball
Shiro- white
Mini- Chibi
Tamago- Egg
Bebitchi- Baby
Yangu- Young
Ura- Opposite, Tail, blue?
This about ura meaning blue is quite intresting, since the ura-tama has got blue pixels instead of black...
In the case of Tamagotchis, "ura" means "inside" because the Ura characters live inside Tamagotchi Planet. Otherwise, "ura" does mean other/opposite/back/tail side. I don't think blue has anything to do with it being named UraTama, though the blue pixels are a nice addition. :)
