As we drove down the road I listened carefully to the radio. As soon as I heard Avril Lavigne's "hot" start to play I demanded it be turned up.
"you make me so hot make me wanna drop.."
"Can you stop singing for five minutes?!" my dad shouted.
"Nope I can't" Then I smiled.
He looked at me with a god you stupid kid look. Then he turned the radio down.
"HEY!"
"It's my radio I can turn it down if I want"
I sighed.
"must you always be so cruel?!"
"Yes. It's my job."
I huffed. He's always like this I thought to myself. Maybe one day he won't be like this.
"Where is this girls house?"he asked sarcastically
"It's just a bit further."
"Right."
"Fine, don't believe me."
"I didn't say I didn't believe you."
"Will you two cut it out?" my mom chopped in.
"I guess" we both said.
I started to think about all the fun I was gonna have with Kelli, we can play Avril music all day long, be retards and run around, play with her puppy Mocha, just have fun. Unlike at home where I have nothing to do and can invite no one over.
We pulled up to Kelli's house and I got out and went to the door and knocked. The door opened and I saw Kelli.
"DALTON!"
"KELLI!"
Then we laughed. We went over to her computer and I put Sk8er Boi on and blasted it. We started dancing and singing.
"Sorry girl but you missed out, what tough luck that boys mine now.."
"We are more then just good friends this is how the story ends.."
We started laughing again. I picked up my phone and started to call some people.
"Who are you calling?"
"You'll see"
Then I ran outside and into the backyard.
