I replaced my tamas battery and now it has my tamagotchi (young mimitchi

Take out the battery and ask a parent/person who is good with stuff if the battery is in right.

The lines just fade away eventualy.

If there is lines, reset your tama and download it.
If that doesn't work, get an adult to take the battry out and put it back in for you.
If that doesn't work reset your tamagotchi completely. Sorry if you have to do this.
If that doesn't work return it to the store and get a new one, or tell BanDai they'll help you.
