Logout passwords are tied to your login passwords. If your login password was incorrect, your logout password will be too.

Make sure you don't mix up 8 and B, or 0 and D.

Oh, and another thing. After you put your login password into the computer and your at TamaTown, make sure you don't press any buttons while your in tamatown (on your tamagotchi). I made that mistake, and I was wondering why it didn't work. Then I emailed Bandai and thats what they said. I tried it, and it worked! Hopefully it will work for you, too.
