Longer tama names

How do u get tamagotchi names longer than five letters? is there a way? my friend claims she knows how but won't tell me because she says she swore she wouldn't. is she kidding or can u make longer tama names??

Bandai Tamagotchi Connection models V1 through V4.5 can have only up to five characters in their name. There is no way to have a longer name.
