Well, I was very excited as my Hitodetchi on my V2 turned into young mametchi, is this a for sure shot for mametchi. If not, what other characters can evolve from young mamtchi.

Yangu Mametchi won't necessarily evolve into Mametchi. Your Yangu Mametchi can evolve into any character available if your Tamagotchi is on an odd generation (1st generation, 3rd generation, 5th generation and so on). I'm not sure what they all are since I've never had a v2.

yes. it wont just turn into a mametchi just because right now its a young mametchi.
