Marrying an iD and an iD L

I am trying to marry my Kutchipatchi on my iD with my Pichipitchi on my iD L, I think they are close to marrying because they often send each other love hearts and when one comes over to the other a love heart appears above one of their heads.

I don't think you can check how close they are together like the past versions. Has anyone else married these two together? How do I get them to marry exactly?

You can't marry/mate an iD L with an iD, unfortunately. The only thing you can do with those two is connect, send gifts, and have them automatically play their connection game (soccer). The hearts are pretty standard, I think; more like a friendship thing.

Thanks for that, I thought it was wierd because I had connected them quite a bit and nothing was happening.
