Me and my girlfriend plan to have a marriage through connection but I was wondering what exactly happens. If I give my character to her and she accepts and starts a family, am I left with only 2 characters?

Also if she starts a family will she be able to send a character to me? I kind of want to have full breed families.

Yes, you will be left with only two characters.

Also if she starts a family will she be able to send a character to me?

No. Once she starts a family, her character's siblings will leave before she has a chance to send one to your Tamagotchi.
If you have only two Tamagotchis, you can breed one by connection, but the other will have to breed by the dating show.
