It doesn't matter when you make your Music City account, you can create it now. When you get your Music Star be sure to create a username on your Music Star with just characters A-Z,!,?. There's a log in button on Music City which will prompt you to enter in your user name and log in password that is displayed on your Music Star toy.

I suggest making one early and playing Tamamile and earning points to purchase more items from the two stores on tamatown. I already have bought around 50,000pts worth of items and transfered them to my 2 tamagotchi music stars.
