Music Star CDs Question

So, on the Tamagotchi V6 (Music Star), there are CDs for sale in the shop. I bought one and it goes straight to "Special Items", but I tried to play it and it wouldn't play. Is this some kind of Music City<-->Tamagotchi thing? Or do I need to buy a CD player or something? I would be really, really greatful to anyone who can help me figure out this conundrum, thanks!!!

I believe you need to buy a CD player thing. I haven't played my Music Star in a while but i think thats what you need to do...

Yes, you have to get a stereo.

One more question (sorry if I sound really silly with this one). Where exactly do I get a stereo? I went to Music City and bought one at the store, but I couldn't send it to my Tama. Thank you!

Yeah, i think you have to check the shop everyday on your tama and eventually it will be their , i only got one yesterday
