music stars: do u have to do the music stuff?

I just bought a tamagotchi music star..and im starting to regret it, cuz i have heard nothing but stuff like "dont get it if u just want to care for the pet". and i just want to take care of the pet, i dont want to make a little band and everything. so would i be able to just play and take care of the pet? or should i return it?

If you really just want to take care of a pet, buy a v1-v3. The v6 is really fun, just try it. Just ignore all the 'music' things if you really hate it that much. <_<

It is possibly to raise just the pet,possible,not good.

If you only raise the pet and ignore the band,concerts,school your Tamagotchi will fail to earn money and may start busking.As Leafray said,if you want a simple version get one of the older Tamagotchi's.

Give the whole music thing a go.I wasen't sure about it on Generation 1 but on Generation 2 I picked up an award and kept at it.Now I have all the music trophies.
