My tamagotchi keeps freezing

my tamagotchi (v4) KEEPS FREEZING!!!. but when i download it once and a hile its good but its getting really annoying. Is it that it needs a new battery becuz i got the no battery sign. but... when i downloaded it it was ok.

PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE!!!

YES it is because u need a new battery! my v2 did that until i got a new battery.

Yeah, its probably the batteries. My Tamagotchi did this once after the battery had run out and I put it back in and downloaded it It stopped when I put a new battery in, though

I once left a dead battery in my tama for 5 months and now it's really glitchy, always freezing. I should've taken the battery out, but I was pretty new to tamas then, so I didn't.
