MY TMGC+C wont start!

I just got my new TMGC+C in the mail today. And I put the batteries in and all. But it wont start. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Have you tried pressing the reset button in the back of the unit with a small, pointed object and then selecting "reset" (the second option)? Usually it's recommended that a new Tamagotchi is reset completely before starting it up.

I actually had to open it and move the reset, it wasnt attached correctly.
