If you are going to remove paint, never leave the "Shell" sitting in nail polish remover, it will eat the plastic and paint and make it all gross and you wont be able to put it back on your tama because it got eaten and many of the slots are distorted to where they wont fit.

 
Thanks for the tip! I was completely going to remove the paint from my tama v3 (it's all worn down and old looking), but now I know not to! THANK YOU!!!

 
I used sunscreen on my v4 because the oil took it right off. I also used an eletcric tooth brush to get most of it off. :)
