Hello everyone! My name is Brittany and I'm new to TamaTalk but not completely new to tamagotchis. I had the very first version as a kid and it brought me hours of fun! It was the green one with yellow buttons. I also had well over a dozen different giga pets and nano pets. I'm not sure what happened to them, I kind of forgot about them when I grew up, got married, had a baby etc. But this past month I saw them on amazon and HAD to have one. I bought a Tamago, and after playing with it for a few days I had to have another. I currently have 3 tamagos, 2 of which are running(havent opened the third) and a bunch of the figures. They are so much fun! I really want an ID L though, but not a Japanese one. If anyone knows a good place to buy an english tama ID L please let me know!!

Anywho, I look forward to talking to all of you! My fellow Tama lovers! :)

Welcome to TamaTalk! Hope you enjoy your time here. :)

Glad to know you've been getting back into Tamagotchis! Ebay will certainly be your friend here if you'd like to find any of the older Tamagotchis or other virtual pets, such as the ones you had when you were a kid.

Speaking of Ebay, you'll find that there are currently a couple of sellers who have English iD Ls:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/BANDAI-Tamagotchi-Digital-Color-Screen-Electric-ID-L-Game-Yellow-English-Pet-/160897993619?pt=Electronic_Battery_Windup_Toys_US&hash=item2576448b93

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bandai-Tamagotchi-ID-L-Color-ENGLISH-version-Brand-New-2012-Release-VERY-RARE-/181048735012?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a27587524

Not sure if they'll be listing again (they have been known to put up more listings even after their older ones have ended/expired) but the Ebay users hkricky2002 (who was selling them for the most reasonable price I've seen on Ebay so far - about $65-70) and chobitsuu also have been known for having some. Worth a shot to send them a message to see if they still have some in stock. Chobitsuu is a member here, and you can find their TamaTalk listing in the tBay section: https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/topic/182552-bandai-tamagotchi-id-l-english-version-2012-new-rare/.

Speaking of the tBay section, if you prefer not to buy through Ebay, there are members here who list their Tamagotchis for sale. The benefit of listing here is that the seller does not incur additional fees that one would experience selling through Ebay. Transactions in this section are carried out using traceable means, such as PayPal. In addition to Chobitsuu, this member has one for sale: https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/topic/183755-pink-tamagotchi-id-l-in-english-95-inc-shipping/.

All in all, keep an eye out and don't hesitate to make an inquiry. See you around the forums! :)

Oh wow thank you so much for all of the info! I actually the chobitsuu seller you posted a link to on eBay but wasn't sure if it was a good way to go or not! I would love the pink one they have for sale, I just wish it were blue! And $95 for a tama is a little steep...BUUUUUT, I really want one. And it has to be English, I can't read Japanese lol! If it doesn't sell by the weekend, I might have to buy it. :)

Welcome Jillitchi, I'm one the same boat as you (just got back into Tamagotchi's with a tamago, two more Tamagotchi's on the way and saving for the iD L). I think the chobitsuu seller is here on Tamatalk too. You can find him/her in the tbay section selling English iD L's. Welcome aboard.
