New To Tamagotchis

[SIZE=14pt]I just got a v5.5, Today. It looked kind of interesting but I haven't really played with tamagotchis before.[/SIZE]

I've played with my friends sometimes but never got the hang of it. Now that I have my own, I want to be the best owner I can be, so with that, does anyone have any tips or tricks that can help me raise my v5.5?
