is it true?

if it is, can u send from using infra red connection/far away?

I don't know about SENDING mail, but RECEIVING mail, yes you CAN RECEIVE mail. There are lots of different things that could come in the mail like the king, a burglar, the nanny, and I think someone comes to give your tama a job.

I just saw a vid. on youtube of v4, the person was receiving mail (poop)

so i guess u can send mail

I have 3 V4's... I wasn't aware you could SEND mail... just receive. I have received poop in the mail though sometimes.

It happens at least two times a day, but normally more.

There are 3 types of mail:

Star icon: Fortune cookie

Letter icon: Gift inside

! icon: Important info (normally things like job or school info)

You can't send mail to your friends. It's just receiving.

Who knows? Maybe you'll be able to send mail on the v5.
