I think because your tamagotchi is a Devil and thunder is like bad or evil. (Like In cartoons, when a evil person laughs "MUH-HAHA", and thunder appears while their laughing). I think this is your tamagotchi's schedule. Just like on Tamagotchi Connection's they brush their teeth, dance, and run.

On Tamagotchi Connections when they make babies there's fireworks...
