Parents and grandparents

I went to the FAQ link on tamagotchi.com and it said this about visiting parents and grandparents at tamatown:

"If your Tamagotchi is currently in the 2nd Generation or higher, you can view and meet your "parents"---the previous characters in your toy---online. After obtaining a password from your Tamagotchi toy, go to the "Parents" home at Tamatown.com and enter it there for up to three different visits."

Does anyone know what password they are talking about?

i think i means go to the note book sembol on the tama and it gives you a code i not sure with Ver.4 and V4.5

you only need a code to visit your parents and grandparents for the V3. V4 and V4.5 don;t require a code at all.
