I went on ebay to buy a tamagotchi V4.5. I couldn't find any from the UK but there were loads coming from America. Do American tamagotchis connect to Tamagotchis from the UK?

And is the American tamatown different from the european?

First,I am pretty sure a UK Tamagotchi can connect with an American Tamagotchi and secondly,Tamatown might only have a few minor changes.

Well I think that the american tamatown is the same as the UK one. But they could be different I'm from New Zealand so I don't know what tamatown I play on probaly the american one but I don't know! Oh and also american tamagotchis can connect with UK Im pretty sure.

Yes, American versions and European versions can definitely connect. A lot of people asked this about the V1 when it came out, and yes, they can connect.
