I'd also like to add that your tamagotchi will only grow older if it sleeps a full night.

1 nights sleep = 1 year older.

Its less than an hour before the baby tamagotchi turns into a baby, its a bit less. But therer is 1-2 days before the toddler turns into a teen and then another 3-5 days before the teen turns into an adult!
