does having no friends affect the tama? i had 2 and they only grew up to be teenagers!

No, having friends doesn't affect your tama.

It does effect your tama's mood sometimes when it wins or loses a game.

If the matchmaker has come for your tama and now your on 2nd generation then your tama is doing fine.
