POEM (yes, ANOTHER one)

[Emmatutu]

Morning at Dawn

It's morning (at dawn)

and on the grass there is dew.

I spring from my bed

(I can't wait to see you)

You stand on my porch,

with that cute little smile,

I run up and hug you

(I haven't seen you in a while)

You tell me you love me,

and I repeat it back to you.

When you ask to marry me,

(I say "I do.")

We did part from each other

But I am not sad to say.

Because love has reasons

(That took him away.)

I will meet someone new

maybe it's time to move on.

Though all always remember you,

and that morning at dawn.
