How do I get my Tamagotchi Connect Version 2 to give presents to one of it's friends?

When you go to connect, just hit B once and hit B twice on the other tamagotchi. They will either play a game or your tamagotchi will give the other one a present. Does that make sense?

If it's a v.2 with a v.2,choose present and whoever presses b first gets the present.

ok thanks. One more thing my Tama is a ringotchi and I put all the codes in the shop but now I can't use the items. How can I use the costume, love potion and hair potion

Some items you can not use until your tamagotchi is an adult. A ringotchi is only a teen. Wait until he/she grows up and you will be able to use them.
