p's downloads sending

hello fellow potato boys and potato girls

so I got an irda usb for christmas and i'm trying to send the downloads to my p's, but i can't seem to get it to work :/

there are a few problems:

1) i extracted and saved the clothes downloads, but whenever i click it, it says "something went wrong" and soemthing else, but it basically meant something went wrong and it wasn't able tos end the files/can't send the files (i didn't even click "send" yet, all i did was click on the file of the clothes downloads)

2) i followed all the steps of tamatamatchi's guide here on tamatalk, but i still can't seem to get it to work

please help!

Maybe the irDA USB you are using isn't compatible with your operating system?

i don't think that's the problem, my computer seems to recognise it and the usb itself works, but the downloading fails everytime
