Putting Tama to sleep?

Hi.

I'm thinking that I could be better off putting my Tamagotchi Ver. 5 to sleep instead of putting it on travel.

Why? Well, pausing stops growth, right? So, i believe that putting the Tama to sleep would be better off because it doesn't stop growth.

Am I correct? Should I do it?

yes, thats correct. when tamas sleep they grow so its better than pausing.

Yup, that should work! Unless I'm trying to stop them from growing, say, so they're not too old to marry my friend's tama, I put them to sleep instead of pausing because the only thing that happens to them while they're sleeping is growth, they can't die or even get sick. Hope I helped!

Thats what I do. Sometimes they grow faster that way. =) I never pause it.
