Question about skill points

I was wondering what the best and fastest way is to earn skill points for my tamagotchi.

I currently have a todler, would it be more effecient to play games with it when he's an adult ?

Or do all the games have the same payout bonus ?

When I play games with my tama, I found that the skill points increase in random areas. Sometimes the intelligence area gains some points, sometimes it's the fashion area etc. If you actually complete the game you gain a lot of skill points. Sometimes all areas increase by a few points.

I also read a guide about how in the teen stage, different games effect different stats and on how certain foods effect certain stats.

So I guess it is more efficient to wait for teen stage to start playing games.
