I used to own a tama v1, but no longer. It's so long ago that I have questions, now that I have two wonderful v3s.

Can you connect with a v1? Excuse me for being silly.... I just don't know...

Is the v1 unit smaller than v3?

What food/snacks are there on v1?

My friend says that there's no shop on v1. Is that true?

Is there drinks in a v1?

I have been told to ask Ebay for help, but there are more fakes that real tamas, which is very confusing. Please help me....

I don't have a V1 so I can't answer all of your questions but I can answer some.

1: Yes, you can connect them. Choose V1 on your V3 and I think V1 on the V1.

2. If you count the antenna, then yes but if not, no.

3. Not sure.

4. Yes, it's true. That was a new feature on V2.

5. Not sure.

2. No, unless the antenna counts 4 u

3. The food is a plate with a heap of something on it! I think the snack is a wrapped up sweet

4. Yes. That came on V2's

5. No drinks on a V1!

Yes u can connect v3's with v1's.

No they are the same size but V3'S have anntennaes.

They just have one meal and one snack on v1, not a whole bunch!

yes there isn't a shop on a v1 unit. That is the reason why i hate v1's!

What do you mean, 'only the attachment ring'??? If it has no IR on top that means it's a P1 or P2. Did yours have a friends list/IR communication?? I have a Version 1 Connection, hopefully soon to get a Connexion, so I know all this stuff. I've played with it for over a year now so I'm going to let it rest in peace.

1. If the V1 is a Connection/Connexion, yes, if it's a vintage 1996/1997 tama, then no.

2. Yes, I measured them. Half a millimetre!

3. These are the foods for Connection/Connexions:

Baby stage

Meal: white bottle

Snack: black bottle

Toddler/teenager stage

Meal: bun

Snack: candy

Adult stage

Meal: depends on your adult, either sandwich, bread, chicken, fish or pizza

Snack: depends on your adult, either cake, ice-cream, donut, pudding or corndog

Oldie stage

Meal: bun

Snack: coffee

These are the foods for P1/P2

Meal: bowl of rice

Snack: cake or candy

4. Yes, that's true. Only V2 and V3 have shops.

5. No, only coffee, which the oldies get. Well, maybe on debug....

A: Yes, you can connect just like normal, just select "others" when you go to connect

A: No, V1 and V3 are both the same size. I know because I have 2 V1's and 1 V3.

A: It depends on the character you have. Diffrent characters have diffrent food/snack.

A: Yes, that is true, believe it or not, it took me months to figure out that there was no shop. XD

A: No, the only drink that I know of it coffee, and the Old Timers and Oyajitchi have that, no other characters have that.
