Not all is peace and contentment in this crowded boat.

There are nervous faces and tempers running high.

But whatever their differences, they are paddling together, in one boat, headed in one direction.

Wherever their journey takes them, let us wish them luck.

You are a teenager in this city you call home. It's been a while since you've gone to a summer camp- hey, the Animal Camps were gross, the Sports Camps were harsh, and Drawing Camps? Talk about feeling bottom of the game.

But this summer's different. Past summers you just hung out with your friends the whole time, but this summer, it feels like everyone's on vacation somewhere. And you need something to do. And you're thinking.. camp.

You begin to frantically search the 'net- it's already nearing the end of July and most of the best camps are going to start soon. And after a good hour or searching you find it- The Raven's Light Camp.

According to the website, the Camp is based in Haida Gwaii, an island off the coast of British Columbia, filled with forests, lots of water, a small town, and mysteries. What the Camp does there is really just exploring the island- and it sounds pretty awesome. You'll stay in a cabin with three other campers, and only 15 campers are permitted. and there are quite a few spots left. This is your chance.

You ask your parents for $15- the only money needed for the trip, and only for a ferry ride, too, and they say sure, it's probably a great way to make new friends.

Appearance: Short and thin, but healthy. Brown hair with a shock of blonde running through it. Almost always has a smile on his face and loves to meet friends.

Personality: Friendly and outgoing, he loved to make new friends, as well as catch up with old ones. Never drops a conversation unless in Dire straits. Loves almost everything except Evil, war, blood, etc.

Appearance: Ella stands at about 5'7", and is quite thin but hippy. She has very pale skin, no freckles, and curly, chocolate brown hair that goes just above the middle of her back. She has very dark brown eyes, thin dark lashes, small nose and small rasberry coloured lips with a big smile. She has a very old fashioned sense of style, usually wearing collared shirts and sweaters and high waisted pants.

Personality: Ella is a very independant girl and will only trust her own instincts. She is a very sweet girl, often refered to as almost candy-like by her friends, but she hates when people ignore her, and also tends to zone out a lot. She is very blunt about things as well, if she is going to tell you something she will either tell you with brutal honesty or lies.

Name: Caecilius Peter Sommers

Age: Seventeen

Gender: Male

Appearance: Cecil appears to be most definitely in his early to mid teens. Tall and thin, a build well-suited for his astonishing height. His hair is straight, but it tends to curl at the ends and it sort of jumps all over the place. The back of his head and his sides are neatly trimmed, and while the top of his head is slightly messy, it’s mostly his curls that’s very distracting, but yet cute. His hair is a very light chocolate that interestingly seems to reflect light instead of absorbing any sort, that it to say, it’s a pure chocolate with tons of sheen. His features are quite defined and softens at the edges, giving off that handsome but gentlemen feel.His eyes are a bright emerald, the very first thing you witness once speaking to him face-to-face. In front of those gems are a pair of thick black glasses, almost those worn back in the 60's. As for his skin, just a soft caucasian decorated with freckles that are seen almost everywhere on his body, other than a few on his cheeks. Nevertheless, Cecil looks so disarmingly friendly that his untidiness is generally forgiven. He is neither frail nor weak, but the easy slope of his shoulders indicates a man made for hugging, not punching or defending. His face is broad, but with prominent cheekbones that are more suited to smiling than frowning. As far as attire is concerned, Cecil is comfortable in just about anything.

Personality: Friendly, cheeky, and outgoing, Cecil has never once had an enemy. He has always found competitive spirit to be an ugly thing—or, at least, something that breeds ugliness quickly. He would much rather sit back and have a pleasant time reaching his goal than race to the top. To him, only the destination of one's journey matters, so long as the path itself doesn't harm anybody. Although he will never admit it, this outlook is partially an excuse for laziness, but he would rather be lazy than arrogant and obnoxious. One of Cecil's few passions is the literature of William Shakespeare; he enjoys reading, reciting, and learning about all sorts of british literature. Cecil is prone to making decisions in the spur of the moment. He isn’t particularly unintelligent, but he has no patience for things unless he can honestly say he enjoys them, and is therefore willing to do whatever it takes to get anything he considers unsavory done with immediately. He has a hard time working with others for this reason. However, as has been stated, he can be an idiot. Even he knows when it’s a good idea to sit down and think about things. He refuses to allow people to insult anyone he is close to. He puts great effort into protecting people near him, even when they themselves are probably going to be better off if he leaves them alone. Of course, this means he gets easily sidetracked unless given proper guidance.

Other: Considering where he grew up, he does have a slight Welsh accent.

Name: Janine Hiyrie

Age: Seventeen

Gender: Female

Appearance: Janine stands at a pretty average height, about 5'6". Her eyes are a slate green, and she has a slightly but not overly pale complexion. Her dark brown hair comes down to around her shoulders, and arches up a bit at the bottom of the back. She alternates every so often between wearing contact lenses and ovular glasses that tilt upward at the far ends and are enclosed in black frames. Her wardrobe seems to wildly vary from one day to the next, reflecting her mood, the season, an event, or any various other thing. While not really chubby, Janine is cannot quite be called skinny. She has a very kind face, and a soft smile. Her entire appearance is, as a whole, welcoming.

Personality: Janine is a very perky and excitable person. She seems to always be smiling and friendly to everyone she acquaints. She is outgoing and easy to get along with. Sometimes it may come off as if she is perhaps a bit too eager to be friendly with and get to know people, or in some cases, she may seem too excitable. An odd but frequent habit of hers, though, is to take things a little seriously and interpret meaning from things that may or may not have any.
