Repeating sequence of events?

Ok, we know that all babies go through a fixed sequence of events. They go like this, in order: Getting sick, sleeping, crying, and finally evolution. I had this shiropuchitchi who got sick and napped TWICE before evolving. Her sequence of events went:--

Getting sick

Napping

Crying (opportunity to disclipine by means of praise)

Getting sick

Napping

Evolution

She eventually became Kuribotchi after a lengthy stint of 1h 40min as a baby. I know this often happens when you reset & download as a baby, but here's the point: I_NEVER_RESET_HER.

What's the problem with my tama?

Hmmm... has anything happened to your tamagotchi?

Dropped it in water, etc.

Hmm, no. I treat all my tamas like gold. In fact, I freak out if anyone so as much touches my tama with damp hands. Also, I've attached this keychain which I loop my finger around so not a single time have I dropped it.
