Scan your Tama?

I wan't to take A lil pic of my Tama for my website. I don't have a webcam anymore, and I tried scanning it with my computer scanner and it came out to dark and blurry. Any ideas?

thers a web site called tamagotchifan.com, she used a scanner so i wonder why hers came out so perfect
