i think i no why..... make sure you didnt press the a button to fast cuz if u did it wont work that happened to me alot

ok i gotz some tips

turn the sound on

press a at a moderate and quick pace

if you see the shopkeeper distressed, and hear it beep when hes distressed ther jus enter random keys and try again
