That's a fair price. You don't need to know any Japanese at all to be able to care for the Japanese Tamagotchis. It's one of my favorites out of the vintage ones, so I definitely recommend it. Have you ever had an Angel before? I want to ask before I inundate you with information. ;)

Don't mind if I do! ;) First of all, there are two versions of the Angel Tamagotchi. There is actually one in English called Tamagotchi Angel, while the Japanese virtual pet is simply Angelgotchi. There are few very minor differences between the two, with the major difference being the language, obviously. The game play is entirely the same. Tamagotchi Angels tend to be a little more expensive than the Angelgotchis on Ebay, especially if they're in really good condition or if they're new-in-box.

Anyway, onto the Angel itself. Keep in mind that this is a vintage Tamagotchi, so relative to the more modern versions, they may seem rather simple. That's the beauty of it though, the nostalgia and simplicity, back when all you had to do was just raise a pet, not worry about pure families, a gazillion characters, passwords, items, Gotchi points, Tama Town, connecting, etc. The lifespan is typically 2 weeks and they're pretty low-maintenance. I like the fact that it has a motion sensor. The Angels have a particular function that occurs when you feed it a snack. Sometimes a bat might swoop down to try and steal away the snack and so that's when you tap the Tamagotchi unit to "scare" the bat away. The angel can also go on a stroll, and there are accompanying cute animations for this. You'll probably see what I mean later, when I post some helpful pages for you. The characters themselves are pretty cute as well.

Here are some really good pages that have been around for a while:

There's a lot of information about the Angels and all the other old-school Tamagotchis. I'm sure the pages explain things better than I can. I recently was in a Tamagotchi Angel/Angelgotchi hatch, so maybe you can check out that thread as well to see some pictures and personal accounts of what they're like: https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/index.php?showtopic=169392&st=0. Also, you've probably noticed, but there's the Ancestors section on this website and it's definitely worth visiting. Just make sure not to accidentally bump topics (post in topics that have not been posted in for over 3 months) because a lot of the topics are actually outdated, sadly, since more people are into the Connections and stuff these days. Sorry if I hurt your eyes with this post. Let me know if you have any other questions! :)
