Yea tamagotchi's do that as a random action or something.

Don't worry, that is perfectly normal.
When your tamagotchi is an adult, it will sing at random times of the day. It also does things like blow kisses, come up close to the screen, brush it's teeth and takes a bath.

Tamagotchi's do different annimations, some of wich do sing.
