I absolutely LOVE classical music. I've been playing the violin for 9 years and counting but classical music has always been a huge part of my life. Opera is fine for me. I can understand how it's not for everyone though, as there is so much music out there and so many people with varying tastes.

You guys should all check out Ludovico Einaudi. His piano solos are so beatiful. I Giorni is my favourite, to play as well as to listen to, and I also love Le Onde.
