Back when the v1 was very popular I had two pink tamagotchis, a dark pink one and a light pink one. I took extremly good care of them but one day my milk spilled on my tamas! I opened them and left them out to dry. My dark pink one recovered without problems but my light pink one only worked for a few minutes and then shut off. My dad tried to fix it for me(he's handy) but he couldn't so I had to throw it out. I just got a new battery two days ago for my dark pink v1 but until I get a v4 I can't connect with other tamas (mine is in the child stage), so I have to rely on the matchmaker to find my tamagotchi a partner. my cousin who lives in New Jersy has a v3 but she only comes once a year in the summer so I have to wait till next year. Don't make the same mistake I did!
