Special Food=Specific Tamagotchi?

I have heard sooooo many rumors that depending on what you feed your Tamagotchi is the type you get. I have no idea if its a rumor or if its a fact, but anyone that knows please tell me what to feed my V3. I've been dying to get either a Mametchi Mimitchi Memetchi or Leaftchi. Thank you sooo much cuz in my V1 practically all I get are Maskatchis or Gozarutchis.I just got my V3 and got a Kurokotchi but I rather get cute characters.

It's only true for babies. Some babies can't eat some food because it's too big. Don't sweat unless your's is a baby
