Still a Teen!?

My tamagotchi is 3 and he's still a teenager. How old do they have to be before they become and adult?

when it's a baby it will take 1 hour to evolve, toddler, 24 hours to evolve, teen 3 days to evolve, adult doesn't evolve.

Okay so he might be an adult by tomorrow morning, that will be his fourth day. He was born at like 11:30 at night so...he'll be four tonight.
