Some tamas have different screen designs, even though the shell is the same.

This is normal. Alot of tamas have different screen designs, but the same shell. For instance, my Glow in the Dark tama V4 has a rainbow screen design, while another Glow in the Dark V4 may have stars or something!

Just makes tamas more unquie(sp?) I guess.

Yes it's normal and I find it quite cool the designs. I guess it's just to put more choices on the board.

Yes, that is very normal. I think it's cute that they will have different backgrounds for different tamas! My friend had two different shelled tamas with the same background It's nothing to worry about, just a little something that Bandai threw in to make each tama unique.
