I'm not sure if this is a genuine fake or not, but it seems like one to me.

The American version has the chimney and the Japanese has the key, I have both models and they are genuine Bandai items

This one has both, very odd and very suspicious.

This is real. I have seen many many many many many many many many many of these designs of Tamagotchi V5 in AUSTRALIAN shops. They're neither American or Japanese.

Yep, it's real. It's just one of the Asia/Pacific versions. They get all the cool stuff.
