Sometimes my tamagotchi calls me for no reason

Does anyone know what's going on here?

I tried to give it a time out but it did not raise any training.

What does it mean?

None of my other tamagotchis ever do this, and I've owned a tamagotchi for a long time already (four years)

so I'm not a newbie. (I am a newbie to the Tama-Go, though. I got it this Christmas) Please help! Thanks! :)

That's true, but actually, mine's an adult.

It started to do this a long time ago- ever since it was a child.

Thanks anyways! :)

By the way, I love your tamagotchi log! It's really cool! :)

If your TMGO beeps for no apparent reason (no empty hearts or anything like this), you would give it a time-out. If your TMGO calls for attention with an exclamation point over its head (with full hearts), this would be the time to praise it. I'm not sure how effective this rule-of-thumb is because I've also heard that opportunities to either discipline or praise are random. If you manage to get your TMGO to the bathroom on time while it does the "pee pee wiggle dance," that's the surest way to raise the training level. Sometimes your TMGO will also beep at you to say hi. I think you praise or discipline at your own risk.
