No differences other than the oldies it can evolve into:

Girl- Otokitchi or Oyajitchi

Boy- Ojitchi or Oyajitchi

It doesn't matter what gender you get, because none are better than the other. It really depends on which gender YOU favor to decide which one you think is better. Both genders will behave the same and have the capability to evolve into any character unless it's an oldie of the opposite gender. Hope I helped!

I like to run pair's together. For example... 2 Pluses, 2 V2's, 2 V3's, 2 V4's and 2 Keitai's... I love when one of the pair is a girl and the other is a boy because then I can connect and mate them
