You only get paid if you have gone to work and played the mini game at least once.

You are paid the first time you visit your WORK the next day.

It really just depends on how many times you play and how many times you win the mini game.

Well you get paid differently for what type of job you have. One of my tamas was a scientist and the King came to give it its salary. The tama I have now though is a school teacher and gets paid by when it visits work.
