When you Tamagotchi calls for attention, and it's still moving around the screen like normal but there's nothing wrong with it, it means that your Tamagotchi is being 'naughty' and needs a Time Out.

If your Tamagotchi has it's back to the screen and little dot type object coming from it, your Tamagotchi is feeling unloved and even a little depressed. It needs Praise.

Another Note: My Tamagotchi instruction sheet actually says to Praise your Tamagotchi for calling for attention when not needing it and Punish when it turns it's back to you. This is WRONG. Your training points will do nothing if you follow this idea.
