Tama v3 and v4.5 Compatibility

Hello, I have a Tamagotchi version 3 and would like to buy a Tamagotchi version 4 or 4.5. I was wondering if these two versions are compatible? Will the v3 and v4.5 work with each other? Hope someone can help before I buy one.

Yes, different versions are compatible with each other. You are also able to marry them together.

Yellowmoodtama is right. Versions 1-4.5 are compatible, except you can't connect versions 1-4.5 to a V5 or V5.5.
