Well, if life wasn't bad enough already, Sally (senior) and Maria sat for hours on end (it could have been 45 minutes but it felt like hours). Maria was frightened and so was Sally but she tried her best not to show it. Neither of them were brave enough to talk, but secretly, they knew what each other were thinking. Sally decided to break the silence.

'Are you feeling ok Maria?' she whispered. Maria shook her head.

'Bad people, mummy,' she muttered. The duo were stuck. The net wouldn't budge (Sally tried that when Maria was pretending to be asleep) and there was no sign of Poppy or Katy anywhere.

Meanwhile, in a household not so far away Sally was sitting by the window, twiddling her thumbs.

'They should be back by now!' she moaned to herself, 'It's been five hours!' Sally, who wasn't quite as silly as she seemed, realised something was up. She ran over to the letter that had invited them to the gifted nursery. 6, Almonds Close, Curnyville. That was only just down the road!

Sally was only one year old but decided she wanted to go on the biggest quest of her life. So, she put on her coat (all by herself), opened the front door (all by herself), walked down the path (all by herself) and found her way to the nursery (all by herself). Sally arrived at the house (amazing navigation skills for a one year old), only to find that the door was slightly ajar and not properly closed. She opened it slowly and there was a creak (kids never learn, if you open a door quickly, it doesn't creak), she didn't open it much in the risk of being found, just enough for her to squeeze through. The room was pitch black. The only things Sally could see were a spiral staircase and to the left of that, an opening to a kitchen. She could hear an evil cackle from the kitchen. She was excited, maybe she'd actually be a proper detective instead of just playing games. If she got the cacklers locked up she'd probably win a Barbie doll as a reward. But anyway. She tiptoed towards the kitchen. The thing with the kitchen was that the entrance was an arch and the arch stuck out a bit, so Sally could hide behind it.

'We'll keep those two idiots here forever!' Poppy shouted. Sally knew who Poppy meant. Sally reached into her pocket and pulled out a toy gun that her mum's friend had given to her at Christmas. Mum would never had let her have it.

It wasn't loaded but it looked like it was.

She got ready to pounce. 1...2...3!

She leapt around the corner pointing the gun at the two evil ladies talking (Poppy and Katy). But something else happened. The net that Sally (senior) and Maria were under was in the way to the doorway. So as she leapt out, she tripped over the net and went crashing to the floor.

'Ahh! A third hostage!' Poppy screamed with laughter, so did Katy. Sally J (we have to start calling her that again because there's two) didn't quite understand what they were saying. The word hostage was beyond her. So she just followed suit and laughed her head off. Ha, ha ha! Poppy took a net out of the cupboard below her. And threw it. It hit Sally J at such a speed, she went flying backwards and landed next to her mum and sister (she'd just realised why she'd tripped over).

'Hello Sally,' her mum said, 'Welcome to the uncomfortable world.'

What will happen in Part 5? Will they escape? Will Steve come and find them?
