tamagatchi mating question

My tamagatchi's (his name is Skidd... hence the username) mate is 8 years old in tamagatchi years and the matchmaker has already given her a baby. Since they've mated, can they still have a baby or do I have to wait until the matchmaker comes for me? :furawatchi: <-- Skidd
