Tamagotchi Color

i ordered a Tamagotchi color the other day, and i know that it's all in japanese, but i have a question about that.

Is it all written in katakana, or hiragana? I'm hoping it's not kanji, i think that might make it a little more confusing.

I'm just too impatient to wait till it gets here to find out!

Anyways, if anyone knows, please share.

Japanese Tamagotchis use hiragana (mostly) and katakana (a bit.) Both are phonetic alphabets. (Meaning that each letter has a certain sound.)

Hope this helps. If you don't understand Japanese that well, you can still navigate using the graphics.

thanks for the response, that definetly cleared it up for me.

it might take me a while to read what they're saying, but i'm sure i'll be able to figure at least some of it out.
