tamagotchi connection and connexion?

so there's tamagotchi connection and connexion...

is there any difference between these two?

or is it just the case of names being different in

the ones sold in Europe and the US?

altho some of the ones sold here (UK)

has a keyring instead of a chain...

can someone clear this up for me?
